Isabel Lewis is a Santa Fe housewife who makes luminaria pins. She first made them for her junior high school aged daughter’s school bazaar. She wanted to make something that had never been made before. She succeeded. She made a pattern for the little brown paper bags, folded and glued them and added a bit of holly. Isabel sold out before the bazaar opened. This happened again at another school bazaar. Her luminaria pins have a little battery-operated light inside, which can be turned on and off.
